DRAIN & SEWER CLEANING - Your plumbing system is composed of many different parts, including water supply lines, drains and sewer pipes. Drain cleaning is the cleaning out of pipes that transport dirty water from your plumbing fixtures and appliances, including sinks, tubs and showers, toilets, the dishwasher, the washing machine, and more. Each drain eventually connects to the building main (lateral) sewer pipe, which carries wastewater to the municipal sewer system or to a septic tank. Drain cleaning removes debris that leads to clogs, including hair, grease, oil, soap scum, and limescale. Preventive drain cleaning can also be a smart way to prevent clogs before they start.

CAMERA INSPECTION OF DRAIN/SEWER LINES - We utilize a small camera system to video inspect the drain and sewer lines from the building’s smaller (secondary) drain lines over to the main (lateral) sewer pipe. Depending on the location of the clog, we can also video the main sewer pipe from the building out to the tap into municipal wastewater line. The video camera is used to verify the line is clear of clogs after cleaning as well as helping determine the condition of the sewer line.

You should never purchase a property without having a sewer camera inspection! Camera inspections are recommended by most realtors prior to a home sale. Buyers can request to have the sewer inspected to determine whether the line is damaged and requires repair or replacement. These issues are expensive to fix and the buyer should be aware of issues before the purchase.

LINE LOCATING - The video camera has a built-in transmitter (sonde) that is used in tandem with a receiver (locator) to locate where the sonde is. The locator also has an estimated depth feature.
